NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A human leg was found in a pile of trash in Brooklyn on Monday, days after a woman's torso was discovered in a shopping cart just blocks away.
The limb was found in a discarded tire by a man walking on Jamaica Avenue in Cypress Hills around 3:30 p.m., WABC reported.
Last Thursday morning, a woman's torso was found near the corner of Pennsylvania and Atlantic avenues on the border of Cypress Hills and East New York. The torso was in a large bag, which was in a shopping cart.
Police haven't connected the pair of grisly discoveries as they continue to investigate both human remains, according to the report.
