YAPHANK, N.Y. (WCBS 880) -- A Long Island man has been arrested for allegedly burglarizing a wide array of businesses -- from churches to a dance studio to a Subway restaurant -- over the past two months.
Anthony Mules, 57 of Bay Shore, was charged with nine counts of burglary for the alleged crimes that took place from Wyandanch to Mastic.
Police said Myles would kick in the front doors of the businesses and steal property from inside. Most took place during the late night hours, with one happening just after 10 a.m.
Police said the incidents occurred at these locations:
- Church of God, 55 Pine Aire Drive in North Bay Shore, June 3 at approximately 10:20 a.m.
- iLoveKickboxing, 746 Eastbound Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore, June 30 at approximately 12:35 a.m.
- Lori's Dance Center, 126 East Main St. in East Islip, July 1 at approximately 12:15 a.m.
- Subway, 1750 5th Ave. in North Bay Shore, July 7 at approximately 11:35 p.m.
- Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 1434 Straight Path in Wyandanch, July 9 at approximately 5:05 a.m.
- Dominican Restaurant, 1897 Deer Park Ave. in Deer Park, July 26 at approximately 1:05 a.m.
- Legworks Dance Studio, 1040 Montauk Highway in Mastic, July 27 at approximately 1:10 a.m.
- Best Kitchen, 787 Udall Road in West Islip, August 7 at approximately 4:05 a.m.
- Dream Style Barber, 1239 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore, August 14 at approximately 11:30 p.m.
Myles is set to be arraigned Sept. 3.
