LINDENHURST, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A 23-year-old CVS employee working Christmas Day at his Long Island store was stabbed to death, Suffolk County Police announced on Friday.
Officers responded to the retail pharmacy at 20 East Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst after a 911 caller reported the incident at about 6:50 p.m.
Upon arrival, the cops found the victim, Edeedson Cine, with a stab wound to his chest. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.
Police described the suspect as a white man who appeared to be in his 40s, and said he fled the scene on foot.
