NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on Thursday that the city's Marriage Bureau will open again as early as next week.
According to de Blasio, couples can begin making appointments at the Marriage Bureau starting Monday, July 19.
"Love is in the air," de Blasio said. "What perfect timing, just in time for Saturday, which is the 10th anniversary of marriage equality."
Marriage licenses will be given out beginning Friday July 23.
"New York CIty is coming back, Weddings are coming back," de Blasio added.
