
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police identified the machete-wielding brute who attacked a subway rider on a Bronx 2 train early Saturday morning, and released photos of the suspect to help in his apprehension.
Runadieo Jordan, 54, is accused of committing the assault that took place on a northbound 2 train in the Bronx at 1:13 a.m. on Saturday.
A 31-year-old man was riding the train, which was approaching the Allerton Avenue subway station in the East Bronx, when he was approached by an unknown man and a verbal dispute broke out.

The suspect, who police identified as Jordan, took out a machete and began hacking at the victim, causing injuries to his arm and hand. He then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Officials said the 31-year-old victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
In images and video of Jordan released by the NYPD, he is wearing a gray baseball cap with a red-and-white logo, a blue shirt over a dark-colored T-shirt, light-colored pants, black sunglasses, a black face covering, black shoes and carrying a large black bag.
