NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Mayor Zohran Mamdani told 1010 WINS on Friday that there will be another watch party outside Madison Square Garden for Game 2, and that he bought a ticket to Game 3 on Monday, when President Donald Trump is also expected to attend the game in New York.

“There is a watch party outside of MSG this evening,” Mamdani confirmed to WINS anchor Scott Stanford.
The mayor said he wants to make sure everyone is having a good time and staying safe after eight people were arrested Wednesday night for climbing and blocking an ambulance outside the arena.
“As much as we want New Yorkers to be able to enjoy themselves, I would like to remind New Yorkers to not jump on any emergency vehicles or ambulances or to block their passage,” he said.

The mayor also said he will attend Game 3 on Monday night and that “I’m paying for my own ticket.”
“Last time I went, I went with the public advocate, Jumaane Williams; we were up in the nosebleeds,” he said. “This time, I’ll be there with a few friends. And I know that the president will also be coming. I can tell you that I won’t be courtside or in a suite, but I can’t wait to see the game.”
He would not say whether he was invited to sit with the president.
