NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An 18-year-old man was fatally shot near his home in Brownsville, Brooklyn, on Sunday afternoon, police said.
The victim, identified as Quahmir Cruz, was shot just after 3 p.m. at 375 Blake Ave. in the area of the Van Dyke Houses.
The shooting scene was right across the street from his home on Blake Avenue.
Cruz suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale Hospital Medical Center.
No arrests had been reported as of Monday.
