NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 19-year-old man was critically injured following a violent attack on the Lower East Side on Sunday evening, authorities said.
According to officials, the victim was slashed in the neck and head near the intersection of Eldridge and Broome streets shortly before 7 p.m.
Emergency responders transported the man to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Police are reportedly searching for three suspects linked to the assault, sources told 1010 WINS.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
