NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred over the weekend in Brooklyn.
On Saturday, March 27, just before 4 a.m., authorities responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of Unity Plaza located at 391 Georgia Avenue East New York.
Upon arrival, officers observed 21-year-old Deshawn Herbert of Brooklyn, with a gunshot wound to the head, according to police.
EMS transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
