
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man plunged to his death from an apartment building in Brooklyn late Sunday night, police said Monday as they investigated the circumstances of the fatal fall.
NYPD officers responding to a 911 call at 11:30 p.m. found the 23-year-old victim lying face down behind a four-story building at Broadway and Jefferson Avenue in Bushwick.
He was unconscious and unresponsive, according to police, who said he had injuries indicating he fell from an elevated position above the courtyard.
EMS responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The medical examiner is working to determine his cause of death.
No criminality was immediately suspected, but the investigation is ongoing.
