NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are investigating the shooting death of a man Monday night in Upper Manhattan, according to authorities.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot in front of 187 Sherman Ave., near 204th Street in Inwood.
Upon arrival, officers observed 24-year-old Erni Garcia with a gunshot wound to the chest.

EMS transported Garcia to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
