Man, 24, stabbed to death a block from his Brooklyn home: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 24-year-old man was stabbed to death in Brooklyn on Wednesday night, police said.

Police responding to a 911 call around 7:55 p.m. on Wednesday found Tyler Nichols at the corner of Coney Island Avenue and Turner Place in Kensington with several stab wounds to his stomach, the NYPD said.

Nichols, who lived a block from where he was shot, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, police said.

No one has been arrested in connection with his death, the NYPD said. An investigation is ongoing.
