NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 27-year-old man was fatally struck while walking on the Henry Hudson Parkway in Manhattan, police said Sunday.
The man was walking northbound in the right lane of the parkway when he was hit by the driver of a 2017 Dodge Caravan near Dyckman Street in Inwood around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
He was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Police have not yet released his name.
It wasn't immediately clear if the 25-year-old driver who remained at the scene would face charges.
An investigation is ongoing.
