NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are investigating after a man was found stabbed to death Tuesday morning in the Bronx, according to authorities.
Just after 5 a.m., police responded to a call of an assault at the corner of 183rd Street and University Avenue in University Heights.
Upon arrival, officers observed 28-year-old Fitzroy Bennett unconscious and unresponsive with a stab wound to the torso.
EMS responded to the scene and transported Bennett to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and an investigation remains ongoing.
