NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man is in critical condition after he was shot in the head by a gunman at a Brooklyn deli on Sunday, according to the NYPD.
The 28-year old victim was inside of AH Grocery located on Pitkin Ave. and Wyona St. in East New York at around 4 p.m. when the gunman walked in and started shooting multiple times, police said.
The victim was rushed to Brookdale Hospital.
The gunman fled in an unknown direction.
An investigation is ongoing.
