NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 32-year-old man was stabbed to death at an apartment building the Bronx on Sunday night, police said.
A person of interest is in custody following the stabbing around 10:40 p.m. inside 494 East 138th St. in Mott Haven.
NYPD officers responding to a 911 call found the man stabbed once in the chest, police said.
EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim's name has been withheld as his family is notified.
Police are questioning the person of interest as the investigation continues. Their relationship to the victim wasn't immediately known.
