NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 32-year-old man was slashed in the cheek by a man who bumped into him at Times Square Wednesday night, authorities said.
The victim was walking on 42nd Street and 8th Avenue around 7 p.m. when he was bumped by a man, police said.
The victim said the man became "irate" and slashed him on the right side of his face with an unknown object, according to officials.
While the suspect fled the scene, EMS workers treated the victim.
A description of the attacker was not immediately available. The investigation remains ongoing.
