NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating after a man was found fatally shot Wednesday evening in Upper Manhattan.
At approximately 4:45 p.m., officials responded to a 911 call of a man shot in front of 70 Post Avenue in Inwood.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 33-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive with a gun shot wound to the upper chest and arm.
EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He was later identified as Manuel Valarezo, who lived on the same block where he had been repeatedly shot.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
