NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 33-year-old man died on Saturday after being stabbed during a knife fight in a Queens home, the NYPD said.

Officers responded to 911 calls reporting a fight in progress at a house on Beach 13th Street, near Davies Road in Far Rockaway, at about 6:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers were told that two men had been fighting with a knife but fled the location prior to their response.

Police conducted a hospital canvass and found Nilkinson Leonel Medina at St. John’s Hospital with multiple stab wounds to his chest. He later died there.

Medina lived on Beach 21st Street, just over half a mile from where he was killed, police said.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
