NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are looking to identify two men wanted in connection to a stabbing that occurred during a dispute in front of a Queens deli earlier this month.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Monday, September 6, in front of the 2401 Deli and Grocery, located at 24-01 31 Street in Long Island City.

The 35-year-old victim was standing in front of the deli with a group of friends when the men engaged him in a verbal dispute, officials said.

The verbal dispute then escalated into a physical encounter, when one suspect displayed a knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen, before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction, authorities said.

The victim walked into Mount Sinai Hospital-Queens and was treated and released.

Police describe the suspects as follows:

Suspect #1: Male, 18-years-old, light complexion, approximately 5'10" tall, weighing 150 lbs., thin build, brown eyes, beard and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, white sweatpants and white sneakers.

Suspect #2: Adult male, light complexion, heavy build, full beard, dark short close-cut hair with tattoos on both arms. He was last seen wearing a button-down shirt and blue pants.

Officials released surveillance photos of the suspects on Friday obtained from the incident location.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
