NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released photos on Monday an unidentified suspect they said stabbed a 35-year-old man during an argument at the Times Square subway station earlier this month.
It happened at approximately 9:20 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, on the northbound platform of the 42nd Street-Times Square station, authorities said.
The victim was standing on the platform when the suspect engaged him in a verbal dispute that quickly turned physical. During the altercation, the suspect displayed a sharp object and stabbed the victim in the head, according to officials.
EMS responded to the scene and treated the victim for his injuries.
The attacker fled the station on foot in an unknown direction and remains at large. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and light-colored pants.
