NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 36-year-old tourist was punched in the face and then robbed by a knife-wielding attacker while on a Manhattan subway Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The incident happened aboard the 4 train around 10 a.m. in between the Fulton Street and Wall Street stations, police said.

A man approached the victim and punched him before stealing his cellphone, according to officials. Just before attacking the man, the suspect said "why are you looking at me?"

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for a laceration on his face. He is in stable condition.

Cops later arrested 29-year-old Yahiness Holden and charged him with robbery, menacing and criminal weapon possession.
