NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old man on a Bronx street that occurred late Monday night, according to the NYPD.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. on August 23, police responded to a 911 call of a person shot at a bodega near the corner of East 157 Street and Melrose Avenue in the Melrose neighborhood.

Upon arrival, officers observed the victim, identified as Ryehine Cintron, 38, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the torso.
EMS transported Cintron to NYC Health & Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
According to police, the gunman fled down 157th Street in a dark blue NIssan Altima.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
