NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 40-year-old man was shot and killed Monday morning about a block from a playground in Brooklyn.
The man was shot multiple times shortly after 9 a.m. near 410 Wortman Ave. in East New York, police said.
The shooting was about a block from Jerome Playground and the school P.S. 273.
Citizen App video showed police tape and numerous NYPD officers at the scene.
The victim suffered gunshot wounds to the torso and right leg. He died at Brookdale Hospital and hasn't yet been identified.
No arrests had been reported Monday as the investigation continued.
