NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a stabbing in Times Square early Monday, police said as they searched for a group of young men.
The 41-year-old victim got into a dispute with three to four males—believed to be in their late teens or early 20s—in the area just after 5 a.m.
During the argument, the man was stabbed in the abdomen, police said.
It wasn't immediately clear what sparked the confrontation or exactly where it took place, but the victim approached police officers at 43rd Street and Seventh Avenue to tell them he’d been stabbed.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in serious but stable condition.
The male suspects fled and were still being sought Monday.
