NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a man wanted in connection to an unprovoked attack that happened on a Bronx subway platform earlier this month, according to officials.
The incident occurred on Friday, March 11, at approximately 1 p.m. inside of the Allerton Avenue subway station in Allerton.
Police said a 42-year-old man was standing on the southbound 2/5 platform when he was approached by the suspect who punched him in the face in an unprovoked attack.
The suspect fled the station on foot.
The victim suffered causing pain and swelling and was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
The suspect wanted for questioning is described as a male, 20-30 years of age. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark jacket and pants.
