NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect who shot a 42-year-old man at a Staten Island gas station Monday night.
The victim was shot by an unknown man while at the Citgo gas station on West Service Road in the Travis section at 11:15 p.m., cops said.
Authorities said the victim sustained gunshot wounds to the groin and chest and is in stable condition at a nearby hospital.
The alleged gunman fled the scene in a late-model Toyota sedan.
According to police, it is unclear if it was a drive-by shooting at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
