NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are investigating the death of a man who was found shot in the head early Thursday morning in Queens.
Just after 1 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of shots fired in front of 32-32 208th Street in Bayside.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 43-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS pronounced him dead on scene.
A second victim, a 21-year-old man, informed officers that his cellphone was stolen by an unknown man and he was not injured during the incident, authorities said.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending family notifications.
