NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating after a man was shot in the back of the head on a Bronx street Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
At about 3 p.m., officers responded outside the Throggs Neck Houses located on Randall Ave. near the Cross Bronx Expressway in Throggs Neck, police said.
Upon arrival, police found a 43-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head, officials said.
EMS transported him to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
