NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are investigating after a man was fatally shot in the hallway of a Brooklyn housing complex on Sunday, authorities said.
At approximately 8:50 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot inside of the Breukelen houses located at 10713 Flatlands Ave. in Canarsie.
Upon arrival officers discovered 44-year-old Zamel Myers shot in the torso.
Myers was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation is ongoing.
