NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for man accused of beating a man at a Queens subway station last month, causing him to lose consciousness.
At approximately 7 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, a 45-year-old man was on the platform at the Jamaica - 179th Street subway station when he was approached by the suspect.
The suspect struck the victim in the face causing him to fall to the ground, officials said.
The suspect then began to repeatedly punch and kick the victim, causing the victim to lose consciousness.
EMS transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
The suspect fled in an unknown location.
