NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was stabbed and wounded as he rode a subway train in the Bronx on Tuesday morning, police said.
The 45-year-old victim was stabbed on a northbound 4 train just before 3 a.m. at the 138th Street–Grand Concourse station in Mott Haven, according to police.
He suffered a stab wound to the upper chest and was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.
He was alert and in stable condition, police said.
The stabber fled the scene, and no arrests had been reported Tuesday.
An investigation into the stabbing is ongoing.
