NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 47-year-old man was reportedly shoved onto subway tracks during an argument at a Brooklyn station late Saturday night.
The straphanger was inside the Marcy Avenue J/M/Z station in Williamsburg just before midnight when he got into a dispute with his attacker, police sources told the New York Post.
The victim was shoved onto the track bed but was helped back onto the platform by other riders, according to the report.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital with a cut to his head and was expected to be okay.
Police were still searching for the attacker on Sunday.
It was the latest episode of subway violence in recent weeks. Riders have been beaten, slashed and pushed onto tracks across the city.
