NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 53-year-old man died after he jumped from a building on Madison Avenue Monday morning, the NYPD said.
Police responding to a 911 call found the man on a 10th-floor balcony at 390 Madison Avenue in Manhattan around 10:05 a.m., the department said.
The man had injuries consistent with falling from a high position, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The NYPD didn't immediately release the man's name. An investigation is ongoing.
