NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 65-year-old man was brutally beaten in Brooklyn earlier this month, according to police, who released images Wednesday of his wanted attacker.
Police said the victim was standing in front of 221 East 31st St. in Brooklyn on Nov. 4 around 9:36 a.m. when a man approached him from behind, grabbed him by the neck, and pummeled him in the face.
The impact caused the 65-year-old man to fall to the ground. He suffered bruises and swelling on the left side of his face, but he ultimately refused medical attention.
Cops said the assailant fled on foot to parts unknown after the incident.
