NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating after a 66-year-old man was fatally struck by an SUV in a it-and-run in Harlem Sunday night, authorities said.
According to officials, at about 9 p.m., the man was walking south on 5th Avenue when he was hit by a blue Toyota RAV4 going west on 135th Street.
The car fled the scene, cops said.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem where he was pronounced dead.
His identity has not yet been released by police.
