
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 67-year-old man was violently robbed in broad daylight near the New York University campus in Greenwich Village, police said Tuesday.
The NYPD released images of a suspect, believed to be between 19 and 25 years old, who they’re searching for in the Feb. 12 robbery.
The victim was standing in front of 98 Bleecker St. at 12:45 p.m. when the suspect came up from behind and pushed him to the ground, police said.
He then ripped the victim’s camera from his neck and fled westbound on Bleecker Street, according to cops.
The victim was not seriously injured in the attack, police said.
The suspect was wearing a black Canada Goose vest, a gray hoodie and black sweatpants, according to police.
