Man, 69, thrown out of car by Bronx robbers

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 69-year-old man was thrown out of his car by a pair of robbers in the Bronx last week, police said Tuesday as they released footage of the suspects.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, a 69-year-old man was sitting inside of his vehicle in front of 1064 Cauldwell Ave. in Morrisania, when he was approached by two men who proceeded to pull him from his car and threw him to the ground.

The suspects then punched the victim in the head and went through his pockets, taking his wallet, cellphone, and approximately $340 cash.

The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim was taken to Bronx Concourse Division Hospital in stable condition.
