NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Monday released a photo of a suspect wanted for stealing a 70-year-old man's chain in the East Village last week, authorities said.
At approximately 3:40 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, the suspect approached victim from behind in the rear of 40 1st Avenue and forcibly took his chain from his neck causing a small abrasion, officials said.
The suspect fled on foot to parts unknown.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black sneakers.
