NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 70-year-old man was wounded early Tuesday morning in a stabbing at a luxury apartment building in Chelsea, police said as they arrested a woman in her 30s.
The victim was stabbed in the torso shortly before 2 a.m. inside of 507 West 27th St., according to police.
EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was in stable condition.
Aqaw Bior, 32, was arrested on charges of assault, aggravated contempt/violation of an order of protection, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The connection between the two of them wasn't immediately clear, nor were the circumstances that led up to the stabbing.
