NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 72-year-old man was viciously beaten in an unprovoked attack at the St. George Ferry Terminal on Staten Island, and police are searching for a suspect seen in images released Friday.

The victim was inside the terminal at 1 Richmond Terrace around 4:50 p.m. on Feb. 2, when his attacker came up and punched him in the head.

He continued to pummel him in the head and face multiple times before fleeing the area, police said.

The victim suffered swelling and pain to his face and lips.

EMS transported him to Richmond University Medical Center in stable condition.
