NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 72-year-old man was hospitalized with internal injuries after he was sucker-punched and shoved into a cement flowerpot in Union Square by a moped rider who remains at-large, police said Friday.
The NYPD released an image of the suspect they're searching for in the Sept. 27 assault at East 14th Street and Union Square West.
The victim was walking at 1:45 p.m. when his attacker rolled up and punched him unprovoked, police said.

The assailant then pushed the victim, causing him to fall into a large, cement planter, according to cops.
The suspect fled on the two-wheeled vehicle before EMS arrived and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was listed in stable condition with various internal injuries.
