Man, 75, followed, beaten after getting of Bronx bus: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a man wanted for beating a 75-year-old man after getting off a bus in the Bronx earlier this month, authorities said.

The incident happened at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, after the suspect rode the bus with the victim in the vicinity of East 204th Street and Webster Avenue in Norwood, officials said.

According to police, the suspect followed the victim off the bus and began punching him in the face.

The victim sustained a minor cut to the lip, authorities said.

The suspect fled on foot to parts unknown and the victim refused medical attention at the scene, the NYPD said.

Officials described the suspect as a dark-skinned man who was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweater with the word "Lakers" in front of it, black pants, brown boots and black face mask.
