NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 79-year-old man was punched in the face in the lobby of his apartment building on Manhattan's East Side over the weekend, police said Thursday as they released images of a suspect.
The victim was in the lobby of the building at East 23rd Street and Third Avenue in Kips Bay around 6 p.m. Saturday when a stranger came up to him and started an argument, it's unclear about what.

The dispute led to a physical altercation between the two men, during which the suspect punched the victim in the face, police said.
The attacker then fled westbound on East 23rd Street.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was transported by EMS to NYU Langone Health, where he was in stable condition.
