NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a suspect who robbed a 91-year-old man at knifepoint Monday afternoon in the Bronx.
It happened at approximately 3:30 p.m., as the senior was walking at the intersection of East 161st and Grand Concourse in Concourse Village, police said.
According to officials, the suspect approached the victim from behind, displayed a knife and demanded his property.
The victim fell to the ground and sustained a head injury, cops said.
EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.
The individual was last seen fleeing on foot eastbound on 161st Street.
