NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was arrested and charged with murder Tuesday in the beating death of his mother at her Bronx apartment last week.
Bob Guzman, 33, also faces charges of manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon in the killing of 57-year-old Josefa Soto De Carmen.
The suspect is the victim’s son, sources told 1010 WINS on Wednesday.
The victim was found last Friday afternoon with trauma to her head and torso inside a fifth-floor apartment on the Grand Concourse in the Concourse Village section, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
