NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man and woman who allegedly stabbed, pepper-sprayed and beat a security guard at a CityMD in the Bronx last week.
The NYPD released an image Tuesday of the two suspects they're after in connection with the April 14 attack inside the urgent care at 48 East 170th St. in Mount Eden.
A 21-year-old man was working security at the location around 2:30 p.m. when the pair got into an argument with him, leading to the assault, police said.
According to cops, the duo stabbed him in the back with a sharp metal object, discharged pepper spray in his face and kicked him in the face before fleeing the location in a white Kia SUV.
EMS transported the guard to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was in stable condition.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
