NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was arrested early Thursday morning for allegedly spray-painting a profanity on several NYPD vehicles in Brooklyn.
Police sources told the Daily News that Kenneth Anderson, 39, is believed to have spray-painted "s**t" on a police cruiser and two vans near the 75th Precinct stationhouse in East New York.
Two other police vehicles were discovered vandalized at the Police Service Area 2 headquarters nearby, according to the report.
Anderson ran from officers who approached him near the stationhouse around 1:20 a.m., the sources said. Police ended up searching his bag, where they allegedly discovered a hammer and a spray-paint can.
He was charged with criminal mischief after admitting to the graffiti, according to the report.
