NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a man wanted in connection with an attempted rape of a 14-year-old girl at a Brooklyn doctor's office over the weekend.
David Gonzalez, 31, was charged Wednesday with attempted rape, forcible touching and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
The attack happened just before 1 p.m. Sunday inside of 202 Foster Ave. in Midwood, according to police.
The teen had ridden her scooter ahead and arrived before the mom, police said.
The victim was waiting in the hallway when the suspect entered, approached her and exposed his penis, according to police.
When the teen girl attempted to flee for safety, the suspect grabbed her, knocking her to the ground while covering her mouth, police said.
The victim continued to resist and the suspect fled the building on a moped, which he rode on Foster Avenue towards McDonald Avenue, according to police.
The victim was not physically injured., police said.
