Man attacked woman, threatened her life in Queens attempted rape

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who attacked and threatened a woman in Queens early Friday morning as part of an attempted rape.

The 32-year-old woman was walking down 94th Street near 31st Avenue in Flushing at about 5:45 a.m. when the suspect snuck up behind her.

The assailant put a handkerchief over the survivor’s mouth and threatened to kill her, police said.

He then pushed her to the ground and began removing her clothing.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction, and the survivor was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
